Sunrise Bank enters 3rd year and opens 24th Branch today
2009-10-11 - NewsKathmandu October 11th, 2009. Sunrise Bank Limited has completed two years of its operation. On the occasion of entering into the third year, the Bank opened its 24th branch in the Far-western region of the country, Dadeldhura District. The Branch was inaugurated by the President of Dadeldhura Chamber of Commerce Mr. Lok Raj Bhatta. The main objective of expansion of this Branch is to provide banking facilities to the expanding small and medium business and for the local development. In addition to this, this Branch will focus to inculcate saving habit among people- said Mr. Suman Neupane, General Manager of Sunrise Bank Limited. This Branch will be providing all those facilities being provided by other Branches of the Bank. During the fiscal year 2065/66, the bank has earned operating profit of NPR 140 Million. Latest transaction shows that the Bank has opened 66823 accounts 12.29 billion in deposits, 10.65 billion as loans and 2.09 billion as investments. The Bank is providing facilities to the customer through 26 ATMs. The Bank has already completed public share issues and will be conducting its 2nd Annual General Meeting shortly. The Bank will soon open a Branch in Biratnagar and other Branches inside Kathmandu valley.
