Mathadhis of Budhanilkantha Temple Swami Bodhananda inaugurating the Branch
Sunrise Bank Limited has opened its 22nd branch at Budhanilkantha. The Branch was jointly inaugurated by Swami Bodhananda, Mathadhis of renowned Buddhanilkantha Temple and Mr. Tolaram Dugar, Chairman of the Bank on Friday. Budhanilkantha, which lies in the northern part of the valley, with increase in economic activities, however, lacks the presence of private commercial bank in this area which is one main reason behind operating this Branch – says Kishore Maharjan, Chief Executive Officer. With the launching of this Branch, local traders, entrepreneurs and local people can benefit from the modern services of the Bank. This branch will also provide all these facilities that are provided by other Branches of the Bank. The Bank has called on the entrepreneurs operating small and medium trade and industries to enjoy benefits from the Bank.
Sunrise Bank Limited has earned Rs. 130 Million Operating Profit during Fiscal Year 2065/2066. The Bank has mobilized Rs 13 Billion in deposits, disbursed Rs 9.40 Billion as loan and invested Rs.3.35 Billion during current Fiscal Year. The Bank will be extending another branch at Rajbiraj of Saptari in the near future. Sunrise Bank Limited is providing its banking service from 22 branches with 16 ATMs in operation and is in the process of adding additional 22 ATMs in near future.
